16 January – 20 February
Tuesdays, 11:00 – 1:00pm
Goals Glasgow South, 941 Pollokshaws Rd, Glasgow G41 2D

Join us for some beginner friendly football open to women, LGBTQ, and non-binary people at the 5-a-side pitches of GOALS in Shawlands. These sessions have been created as a safe space for women, LGBTQ+ and non-binary people, but they’re just a chance to try a game of footy – or improve your skills. There are no skill or fitness requirements, but if you are not sure if this is for you, you can attend the trial sessions in December. However, you don’t need to attend the trial sessions to sign up.

The sessions will be coached by Nuala Neary and they’re beginner-friendly. During the session there will be plenty of water breaks for everyone to have a rest and to socialise with others in the group. If at any point during the session, someone needs a break that is absolutely fine.

About the coach: My name is Nuala, I’m 25 and live in the Southside of Glasgow. I completed four years studying Sport Coaching at the University of the West of Scotland and I have been coaching Cathkin Blazes Community Football Club for a year and a half. I have a very positive approach to coaching and always focus on the development and enjoyment of those who participate in my sessions. I really enjoy providing people with a safe place to learn something new and to be able to enjoy the game of football.
