Led by Paria Goodarzi and Francisco Llinas, Govanhill Baths Culture Collective

Some sessions include a guided walk and museum visit. We’ll give you notice of which ones and assistance to make this possible.

Open to young people from age 10 to 21 who are interested in the history and artefacts of the Govanhill area. The workshops will explore art as a way to come together, examine local histories, and to share personal stories and cultural experiences. The activities will include printmaking, creative writing, walking and photography. At the end of the programme participants will be given the chance to share their work and experiences in an exhibition and event.
Govanhill Baths is a member of the national Culture Collective network and have a team of artists working with the local community and interpreting the theme of ‘Occupy!’.
Culture Collective was created by Creative Scotland and the Scottish Government to provide support for the creative sector post-COVID and a new foundation for participation with the communities of Scotland.
