A free gentle yoga and relaxation class with Jagjit to help you stay fit and healthy during lockdown. Suitable for beginners and those who have been attending our regular yoga classes.
What Jagjit says about the class:
This is an all ages group and no prior experience of yoga is needed. People go at their own pace and I will adapt the teaching to suit the individual needs of participants (e.g., if someone has back pain). I teach very simple postures and breathing exercises. I am always looking forward to running the group and introducing yoga to new members.
I moved to Glasgow from India 45 years ago. 16 years ago I had cancer and yoga really helped me get through it. Having seen the benefits yoga made to my life I wanted to share this with others so I trained as a yoga teacher and I have been teaching yoga at Govanhill Baths for the last 7 years. I am also trained in Reiki and head massage. I believe there is always something new to learn in life.
