Join the new Women on the Mend, a 9-week Craft and Self Care course exploring a wide array of subjects including sewing, embroidery, homemade face masks and more! This group is facilitated by Sarah.

Hello! My name is Sarah, I am a freelance art workshop leader with Govanhill Baths Community Trust. My practice is inspired by my surroundings, connections, cultures and exchanges. I am interested in working with materials that already exist in the world and have their own histories and references, using these to create new and layered meanings. I am particularly interested in textiles and embroidery.’ The photo I have attached is me next to the collaborative banner made with the community last year for the International Festival and Carnival.
What participants said:
“I always thought I couldn’t sew and now I’ve discovered that I can! These classes have been brilliant for my mental health – to discover that I can do something has helped me so much.”
