Arts, Health & Wellbeing Programme
There is now so much available online in response to COVID 19; we wanted to reassure everyone that it is ok to take this time to rest and not be productive! Last week I found myself running around my flat wracking my brain for activities to fill this space… on reflection my most comforting moments were when I allowed myself to stop, go for a quiet walk, pick up a book or just curl up on the sofa.
It is also fine to want to do things! Some people may be finding themselves with a lot of energy, others may feel stressed, anxious or tired, or a combination of many different feelings and emotions. All of these are valid. This week we’ve come up with a mixture of online and offline activities and suggestions that we hope will offer some relaxation, creativity and connection to the wonderful community that is Govanhill.

Zoom classes and Activities
- Book in for a class or activity by emailing joanna@govanhillbaths.com at least 1 hour before the class starts. You will be emailed a registration form to fill in and email back.
- You will receive an invite in your email shortly before the class starts to join Zoom. Open the link and download the Zoom software to join the class. Check your junk mail if you can’t see it. In the email there will be a list of suggested things you could have to hand.
- Get comfy at home, with a good internet signal and anything you might need.
- Enjoy the class! Any feedback or suggestions can be emailed to joanna@govanhillbaths.com

Yoga and relaxation (On Zoom)
Tuesday 14th April, 11am – 12pm
Gentle yoga and relaxation open to all. Suitable for beginners and those who have been attending our regular yoga classes.
