What Bob says about the group:
I’ll show you how to tie a fly well enough that as long as you can get the line in the water and twitch it a bit you’ll catch a fish. It’s not strenuous, it’s easy going. I like meeting new people and seeing their excitement at catching a fish for the first time, at these times I relive my own excitement of doing so as a child. There’s a big kid in everyone and I’m no exception!
I’ve been fishing since I was tot, since before I could ride a bike. I like to keep myself busy and I always have – over the years I’ve been a gardener, a YMCA gym instructor, a horticulture teacher, a pool lifeguard, I’ve managed organic allotments and obtained a degree in botany.
