Wellbeing, Arts and Health: What’s On

Govanhill Baths Wellbeing, Arts and Health programme comprises of  three strands of delivery:  

  1. Art and Wellbeing participatory activities and groups, which are run by the community, for the community 
  2. Art commissions that enhance and promote the communities Health and Wellbeing through access to high quality art, accessible health messages and positive inspiration 
  3. Social prescribing, which is delivered in partnership with Community Link workers at Govanhill Health Centre
All our Wellbeing, Arts and Health activities are FREE and open to adults living within a mile of Govanhill who are not currently employed (or are on low income) and not in full-time education. NB: people in the asylum and immigration system are eligible to take part in our activities no matter where they live in Glasgow.

We also accept referrals from Community Link practitioners at Govanhill Doctors Surgery and other charity and statutory organisations.   

In line with NHS and Government guidelines, Govanhill Baths’ Arts, Health and Wellbeing classes are currently being delivered online or socially distanced.  Please read our Participant Agreement before taking part in any in person activity.

We are open to suggestions of activities and community involvement so do get in touch with any ideas for new activities or a group you’d like to start or take part in.
