Tackle your woodwork projects with us!

As a part of our offering here at Rags to Riches provide monthly bench rentals for our community to make use of our workshop space and machinery.

When using our workshop you’ll have access to all our tools and equipment, you’ll also have access to our onsite facilitators who have a wealth of knowledge and skills to support you in your projects. If you’re looking for taught classes visit our workshops page.

How it works

1. Induction
   First off you’ll need a full induction to the space and tools. Check our current availability by emailing ragstoriches@govanhillbaths.com.
2. Book in monthly blocks to save
   Once you’ve completed an induction we’ll invite you to join our Wood Club. You’ll join our emailer about available dates and course, and you’ll save 40% by booking your bench rentals in blocks.
3. Join us in the workshop
   And work independently on your own projects!

September: Sundays: 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th
October: Sundays 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th
November: Sunday 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th
December: Sunday 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th

Mondays day times or evenings may be available by request.

What to expect

Our woodwork workshop is consists of 6 hireable workbenches and a wide range of tools you are welcome to use on your own projects.

What we can provide;

• Full induction to all workshop machine tools
• Small project storage on a temporary basis
• Support and guidance from on-site facilitators
• Access to electrical hand and bench tools (after induction)
