Established in 2016, Govanhill Baths Ceramics began as a Wellness Programme in the old Baths building at 99 Calder street. Due to the imminent refurbishment, in 2018 we relocated to The Deep End.
Since acquiring a permanent location, we have been able to improve our furniture and equipment as well as offer courses, Kiln Hire, Wellness and our Pottery Club for Wellness graduates.
In 2019, we received a generous donation from Houlihan Pharmacy enabling us to purchase a much needed new kiln and furniture to support growing demand in the community.
In alignment with COVID-19 Distancing Guidelines, our Studio currently provides comfortable workspace for 8 people, with two electric wheels for throwing as well as house made glazes for our course participants.
