Description
This book is a short poetry collection of poems written by Colin Poole, which was launched at the 2023 Govanhill International Carnival and Festival. Colin Poole uses his poetry to promote understanding between cultures and as a tool to fight injustice wherever he sees it.
Colin Poole’s first poetry collection ‘Verse Versus the Bourgeoise’ was published in 2012 and he is the co-author of two musicals ‘Strike A Light’ and ‘Rent Strike’. His previous poetry collection ‘Versus Verses The Bourgeoisie’ was described as ‘rapid fire rhymes combined with brilliant imagery which never miss the target.’ Colin was born in East London and now lives and works in Glasgow where he is an active trade unionist and socialist.
This collection was brought to you with the support of the Unite Glasgow and West of Scotland Not for Profit Branch.
