Make a Knitted Character Craft Kit

Our newest addition to our craft kits: Make your own Knitted Character is a fun and creative craft kit which has everything your heart desires to make a super cool knitted character with interchangeable outfits – from flares and dresses to t-shirts and tops! This kit contains pattern instructions and step by step guides to get you started and you’ll learn how to construct a basic doll, add facial features and make funky hair to give your design it’s own personality! The kit also includes all the equipment you’ll need to bring your doll to life!

All the fabrics and yarns in this pack are sourced from our textiles workshop at The Deep End. This means they were donated to us or rescued from landfill!

This kit contains:

• 1 x pair of 3.25mm knitting needles
• 1 x yarn needle
• 1 x sewing needle
• 2 x DK yarn for body
• 2 x DK yarn for contrast body
• 2 x DK yarn for hair
• Polyester toy stuffing
• Yarn for eyes and mouth
• 2 x large felt squares for dress or trousers
• 2 x cotton for dress collar and pocket
• 2 x cotton fabric for top

This kit and doll is best suited to children over the age of 6 years old and is not suitable for those who are more wee!
