The book also includes contributions from Govanhill Baths Irish History Group members: Owen Curran, Roisin Crossan, Bruce Downie, Patrick Heraghy, Martha McCulloch & Dorothy O’Connor, Niki McCrossan, Moira McIver and Rae McKinlay.
The 2nd Edition includes a new preface by Colm Bryce and the following new chapters: Class Struggle and Sectarianism in Glasgow; Glasgow and the War of Independence; Ernie O’Malley, The Irish and Labour Politics in Glasgow and Redevelopment of the Gorbals.
