Nothing accents plant life like a funky planter and this was the thought behind our Hexagonal Wooden Planter, made entirely of waste scaffolding boards and ash dowel. Finished with Boiled Linseed Oil, this piece is designed to withstand the elements outside as well as becoming a striking feature inside, while providing a sustainably created home for your plants! This item is local pick-up only.
Dimensions: Height: 26.5cm // Width: 34cm
Made from 5.4 kilos of waste wood
As we work solely with waste materials, your order’s materials may vary depending on the quantities of materials we have available to us. We kindly ask that you allow up to two weeks for the delivery of this planter, as it’ll be made to order and will be a totally one-off piece especially made for you. By doing this we are looking to cut down on our own waste while raising awareness of the time and effort that goes into the making of each of our unique pieces.
This item was created by Danny, our Woodwork Facilitator at The Uphub. The Uphub is Rags to Riches’ Climate Challenge Fund project and is all about raising awareness within our local community about the impact of waste on our environment. It’s also about showing just how beautiful waste can be and by the looks of this design, we think we’re onto a winner!
Please Note: All our items are handmade and upcycled individually and may differ slightly in texture, finish and colour from our images online. This is the unique joy of upcycling and handcraft and we say – embrace it!
