Come along and create your own personal sculptures.
Saturday mornings between 11am too 1pm, 22nd of July to the 12th of August.
Create your own original and personal sculpture, and work up a narrative using clay, hand building techniques and incorporated some mixed media elements.
Participants should being some found objects that you may want to use to help bring your piece to life. Objects such as shells, stones, driftwood, old toys, cutlery or boxes as examples.
Come and tell a story and create a free standing sculpture over a four week course.
Suitable for people with no experiences with clay.
About your tutor.
Artist Rosann Cherubini creates ceramics sculptures with are mainly figurative and depict people with a story to tell. She creates work that illustrates a story, tale, myth or legends.
Description
This workshop will be held at The Deep End, 21 Nithsdale Street, Glasgow, G41 2PZ.
Access the venue via the slope which has the sign ‘The Deep End’ at the top. Walk down the slope to the courtyard which is where you’ll find us. Please arrive 10 minutes before the workshop begins, so you can get settled and comfortable.
