This Is Not A Fashion Show 2014

Rags to Riches delivered Glasgow’s first Upcycled Textile Design show in 2014. The event featured models of all shapes and sizes adorning innovative upcycled garments. Existing collections and commissioned upcycled  were created by designers and other organisations including Hamish Mash, Clyde College, Beautiful Brastards, Urban Roots, Sarah Morbey, Gail Coates Design and our own Rags to Riches participants. Govanhill baths’ mesmerising main pool was transformed thanks to the creation of Govanhill Theatre Group’s bespoke runway and Altronica’s specially commissioned upcycled art installations. This sold out event was developed as part of the Southside Fringe programme of events.
