Earlier this year we hosted a series of demonstrations in conjunction with the Glasgow Southside Against the Racist Nationality and Borders Bill group.

First, was a gathering of resistance in Maxwell Park in Pollokshields on January 22nd. The following week we then marched from the Bowling Green on Kenmure Street to George Square with so many from our wonderful community who, last year, famously stood up to Home Office deportations by coming to the support of two men who had been detained.

The march joined the Refugees for Justice group who were unveiling a remembrance bench dedicated to people who seek asylum, and in opposition to hotel detention.
