An exciting opportunity exists for a Driver to join the team of staff and volunteers at the Govanhill Baths Community Trust (GBCT). We are looking to recruit an experienced delivery driver to help deliver the aims of the People’s Pantry.

About the Pantry
The People’s Pantry is a membership-led shop that provides good quality food at a subsidised rate.
The Pantry stock’s a range of essential items, from store cupboard staples, like pasta, tinned tomatoes, and coffee, to fruit and vegetables, and baked goods. Over time we expect to be able to offer a wider range of food and essentials. Our stock will mainly be provided by Fareshare, a food redistribution charity, and by other local supermarkets and food providers.
Anyone can become a member of The People’s Pantry for £3.50 a year. They can then do a weekly shop for £2.50, which will provide a minimum of £15 worth of food. Members also have the option of paying a solidarity price of £3.50 per shop, to fund a small number of subsidised memberships.
