JOIN US IN THE WOMEN’S MARCH FOR EQUALITY: 12th March, meeting at Govanhill Park at 12pm

International Women’s Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for social justice gender parity.

Dangerous Coats

“Someone clever once said
Women were not allowed pockets
In case they carried leaflets
To spread sedition
Which means unrest
To you and me
A grandiose word
For commonsense
Fairness
Kindness
Equality
So ladies, start sewing
Dangerous coats
Made of pockets and sedition”
