Govanhill Street Music Festival

Sunday 30 August, 1:00 – 5:00pm
Click for more details

Govanhill’s musical heritage is as diverse as its people. Govanhill Street Festival will engage dozens of musician’s groups and organisations – some of whom will compose new music and songs, and others who will rehearse traditional music to showcase and celebrate the rich diversity and abundance of musicians based in Govanhill. These musicians will be invited to perform from their tenement windows, local shopfronts and the entranceway to organisations, as well as sites across Queen’s Park. The concerts will be short and staged throughout the day, please refer to the online map, for where the music will be taking place.

(Govanhill Baths in association with Ando Glas, Music Broth and Big Noise)
