Come for a one-day session with us, where you can use textures and stamps to make beautiful decorations for your tree or mantlepiece. Once completed they will be glazed and fired for you to collect. Choose from Sunday 15th November or Sunday 29th November. Both days run from 10am – 1pm.

Category Is Books and Govanhill Baths Community Trust are delighted to present The Govanhill Queer Community Banner, a celebration of our diverse community.
Working with poet Dean Atta and artist gainAgain (Drew Taylor Wilson), the banner weaves together words and imagery by the queer community about collective experiences, histories, relationships and life in Govanhill, creating a beautiful snapshot of the Glasgow Southside’s queer community.

The banner can be viewed on the following days and times, in line with current Scottish Government guidelines:

Monday 2 – Friday 13 November 2020

Mondays and Tuesdays in the Category is Books window, 34 Allison Street, G42 8NN

Wednesday – Friday (12-4pm) and Saturday (12-2pm) at The Deep End courtyard*, 21 Nithsdale Street, G41 2PZ
*Maximum 6 people in the courtyard, from up-to 2 households/bubbles.

Please adhere to the 2 meter social distancing, the courtyard is an outdoor space but we encourage those who can to please wear a face covering.

Enter the courtyard down the ramp. Please note there are no public toilet facilities or indoor access.
