Spoken Word and Music Nights at the baths start on 6th April
Three exciting fun nights for your diary. The front suite of the baths will be transformed once again, this time for our first series of “Music and Spoken Word Nights”. This marks the return of GBCT as a “venue” for local and well-known artists. Some will remember our highly successful “Soup Song and Swallie” series on Sunday lunchtimes a couple of years ago at McNeill’s bar in Torrisdale Street.
Now, at our own venue we hope you will support the Trust and have a good time into the bargain. Entrance is by donation and of course they all go into the baths fund. Convivial refreshments provided. Watch this space for more details of each event and maybe tell others too!
Dates, all at 7.30pm
Friday 06 April: Featuring Robin Cairns (See pic of him in action on News page!) , Chris Young and Gracie Flair are the featured artists, Lorraine Barrie providing the music, guests - Marc Sherland and American comedienne Sarah Cassidy.
Friday 04 May: In association with the highly popular local Streetland Festival, local Colin Storrie, Jane Overton and Tickle are featured artists, music is by Roscoe Vacant, guests - Gayle Smith and Laura Hainey
Friday 01 June: Legendary Scottish Comedian Stu Who? has agreed to headline with featured artists Tawona Sithole and Viv Gee. Music by San Fran and the Siscos
