Ten years of the campaign in pictures - we need your photographs!
We are looking for photos of the Govanhill Baths campaign from the last ten years to form the first exhibition in the newly renovated front suite in the Baths.
Dust off your photos, dig in your cupboards, search your computers and bring us what you have got.
Do you have any images of the occupation, demonstrations, fundraising events, activities, exhibitions, meetings, clean ups or anything related to the activities of the Govanhill Baths Community Trust over the last ten years? If so we want to hear from you!
Please drop off your CD, usb stick, photos, posters or newspaper clippings at the CCP/Office on Calder street or email us if the images are not too large. If you can scan any documents or photos that would be great, otherwise bring them in and we will do it for you.
Over the next few months you will be kept informed of the progress to develop our research on the history of Govanhill Baths and may be called on for an interview about your experiences! We will be assisted in this by our new graduate internship, Amy Cheung, who will be joining the CCP at the end of January! We look forward to your continued support, and thank you in advance for your assistance with this history project!
