“5, 6, 7, 8” Back to the Fifties and Back in the Baths! Hollywood, Bollywood and now Bathswood !

Generously responding to the call on their time some 40 local folk from across the Govanhill and southside communities joined Friends of Govanhill Baths in full fifties garb to work with 30 professional dance “extras” and actors for the production of the GBCT/Debasers Filum project. The full crew had been on set already for three days and a long Sunday was to follow. Undaunted, and revelling (well maybe, given 5-10 takes for each sequence!) in the experience of film making in such a unique setting, the job was done and we had a “wrap”!

All will be revealed at a big party Premiere and fundraiser back in the baths in October with dancing to the filum band and a full celebration of this quite unique project.
