Celebration, Celebration, Celebration !
Moving Stories...On Saturday 25th June (11am - 4pm) in collaboration with the Big Lottery's BIG LUNCH.
Govanhill Baths Community Trust celebrates Refugee Week with sparkle and fun for everyone.
Music, song, dance, cuisine and art in our Peace Garden and the baths, drawing on the talents of this richly diverse community.
We will have speakers from Palestine and Somalia and music from Underbone and Subsine, among others.
Join your neighbours for a meal, either bringing food or sharing food that has been prepared on the day.
This free event is the latest in a series of Trust events celebrating 10 years of struggle to reopen the baths - closed in 2001.
At GOVANHILL BATHS and the PEACE GARDEN adjacent, 99 CALDER STREET, GOVANHILL, GLASGOW.
Also - a chance to see future plans for the baths and to have your say in the consultation over future services and facilities. Visit the foyer during the Big Lunch event for more details.
